Site Work in Dilles Bottom

Dan Williamson, spokesman for PTTGCA/Daelim, said Bechtel, Beaver Excavating and Ohio-West Virginia Excavating Co. already are working at the site.

“They are leveling the project site for future construction work,” Williamson said via email.

He added that PTTGCA and Daelim are “focused” on reaching a final decision about whether the project will move forward.

It’s National Collection Week!

Shawnee Daniels, Administrative Assistant at SVA, is helping with the collection of shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child at the Hannibal Methodist Church.  The boxes are packed with school supplies, hygiene items, and fun toys.  They are processed and distributed world-wide to children in developing countries and areas where the gospel is restricted.  SVA employees will transport the boxes to Wheeling on Monday!

SVA welcomes Clayton Young to our team. Clayton will be assisting clients with Industrial Controls. He is graduating from West Virginia Northern Community College with a Chemical Operators Degree.

 

WV Route 2 and I-68 Authority

 

SVA is enthused to hear about the study and continued effort to explore and promote the construction of an interstate highway from Morgantown to Route 2.  This would provide excellent highway access to the area!

Exterior Masonry Repair at Lincoln Theater – Sept. 23, 2019

Moran Construction began the masonry cleaning, repointing, and wall repair at the Lincoln Theater in New Martinsville, WV.  Part of the funding for the project is through the WV State Historic Preservation Office.

Installation of WWTP at InSource Technologies

The WWTP install is nearly finished at InSource Technologies. The new package treatment plant is designed for 5,000 gallons per day and has provisions for operating at lower flows.

Installation and Start-up is complete for the WWTP at Long Drain Elementary School

 

 

Clarington’s New Water Tank  – July 30th, 2019

The new Water Tank for Clarington, Ohio is constructed.  Disinfection will begin soon and the tank will be placed in service!

 

Rotary Furnace Start-Up at Owls Head Alloys

The months of planning, design, and construction are rewarded by the testing of the equipment and starting the burner in the rotary furnace.
