Town of Pine Grove – Water Treatment Plant Improvements

Swiss Valley Associates started working on a preliminary study for options for improvements to the water treatment plant and distribution system in Pine Grove. Congratulations to the Town for all their work to improve the services for the community!


City Of New Martinsville is bidding repair work on the Lincoln Theater

The City of New Martinsville, WV will be receiving sealed bids from contractors registered in the State of West Virginia for the Lincoln Theater Back Wall Project until Weds., March 27, 2019 at Noon, local time.

The project includes the repair, and as needed replacement, of block/mortar located on the south wall of the Lincoln Theater, relocation of stage doors, redirection of drainage and basement window replacement/relocation.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Lincoln Theater, 242 Main Street, New Martinsville, WV on Thursday, March 7th at 1:00 PM.  For questions, concerning the pre-bid meeting, contact Beverly Gibb at 304-455-9130.


FAA Determination on Monroe County Animal Shelter  – Nov. 19, 2018

The FAA determined that the proposed Monroe County Animal Shelter (to be constructed near the airport and MACO in Woodsfield, Ohio), is not an obstruction.  Swiss Valley Associates will continue with design for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical for the building.

Clarington’s New Water Tank

The new Water Tank for Clarington, Ohio is out for bids.  Preparation of the site has started.  The new water tank will replace the existing concrete reservoir that has been taken out of service.

Rotary Furnace Start-Up at Owls Head Alloys

The months of planning, design, and construction are rewarded by the testing of the equipment and starting the burner in the rotary furnace.
