The existing steam boiler heating system at the Noble County Courthouse has had many problems in the last few years. Each winter, several radiators go bad, requiring a custom built replacement. The steam piping system is embedded in the walls and leaks when heating on very cold days.
The proposed system will combine the comfort and versatility of a hot water boiler and variable refrigerant flow heat pumps. Design will be completed this summer and construction will begin in the fall and extend through the winter.
